Welcome to the Kimberley and to this resource kit! We are extremely proud of our region, and we are excited to have you visit as a tourist, or join us for work.

The Kimberley is an extraordinary place that encompasses an incredibly rich and diverse community.

Did you know that the Kimberley is one of the most sparsely populated regions with fewer people per square kilometre than almost anywhere on earth? It captures six major towns, four local shires and more than 160 Aboriginal communities.

This resource provides a snapshot of four Indigenous societal themes, Clan, Country, Capacity, and Community

We invite you into our backyard, and look forward to sharing important and interesting information with you to ensure your stay with us is as rich and informed as it can be.
